CSS Style Sheets
We can insert Styles into three locations.They are:
1.Inline Style Sheets
2.Embedded Style Sheets
3. External Style Sheets

Inline Style Sheets
   You can place a style tag direcly in a HTML tag.So we can called it as inline.
Example:-
<H1 STYLE = "Color:Blue">My Heading</H1>

Embedded Style Sheets
   We can place this in the HEAD section in our HTML page.When we embed a style in the HEAD section,
we have to use two tags to tell the browser where the style starts and ends.
Example:-

<TITLE>CSS</TITLE>

<STYLE TYPE = "text/css">
</STYLE>

</HEAD>
<BODY>
You have to type your CSS rules between two STYLE tags.

External Style Sheets
 We can use seperate text file to type <STYLE> tags and the code for our all CSS rules instead of typing them in the HEAD section.
Example:-

<TITLE>CSS</TITLE>

<LINK REL =Stylesheet TYPE="text/css" HREF="style.css">

</HEAD>
<BODY>
To embed a stylesheet the LINK tag is used. The REL attribute tells the browser that you want to link to
a stylesheet; the TYPE tells the browser what sort of file is being used; the HREF attribute tells the browser the name of the file, and where the file is.

External stylesheets are just text files, so you can write them in any text editor. Something like Windows Notepad is ideal.

When saving your external stylesheets, you don’t have to save it with the extension .css. You can save it with the extension .txt. In the HREF part of your LINK tag, you would then have this:

HREF = style1.txt

instead of

HREF = style1.css

Today I thought to publish CSS rules,because when we consider about a Cascading Stylesheet rules,it tells what the HTML looks like to the browser.From that rule we can say how HTML tag should look like,as well you can create your own rule for this.
So,there are three parts to a rule.They are:
1.Selector
2.Property
3.Value

The Selector
In Selector also we can find three types.They are:

1.HTML Selector
2.Class Selector
3.ID Selector

HTML Selector
This is the text part of an HTML tag. The complete paragraph tag is <P>. So its Selector is just P.

Class Selector 
This is one you set up yourself, to be used anywhere on your page.

ID Selector
This is similar to a Class selector, but we use them to identify a particular element.

You can try out these three types of selectors by this example.

.NewFont{Font-Size: 16pt}

#NewTextboxColour{Color:Yellow}
</STYLE>

Property and Value

After you set up a selector,you have to define the properties and values for that selector.
The Property for the selector is the thing you’re trying to change.
Examples are: Font, Color, Background, Margin, Text.

The Value for the selector is the new setting for the property.
For example, for our COLOR property, we can set it to a value of an actual colour (red, blue, yellow), or a colour code (#FFFF00, #000000).

The property and the value are enclosed in curly brackets { }. The syntax for the whole thing would then be:
Selector {Property: Value}
An example is:
        H1 {Color: Red}

So you can develop this like below:
H1 {Color: Red; Font-weight: Bold; Font-Size: 16pt;}

            Then type O and enter.

Folders Boring! Add Different Colors In Windows

       You may worry about your folders because it may gets some messy,unwanted to your pc.But sometimes you may rearrange those folders by changing their sizes and shape.But color???????????????It may be shown as you made it first.So any longer you don't have to bother about it.Because now you can change your folders' color as you wish.

Introduction to Cascading Style Sheets

             Last post I mentioned that this post would be published CSS introduction.So today I'm going to publish about it.We know HTML is not a graphic designing tool and it is a simple way of displaying a text in  a browser.Web designers clamoured for a better way to present their work on a web page because HTML just wasn’t enough. After all, with HTML, in order to get text or an image exactly where you want it, you have to resort to complicated tables to force the alignment and so on.
                        Finally with the introduction of Cascading Style-sheets, all the problems which standed with HTML were solved. A Style is, basically, just another way to manipulate elements on a page, in order to bring a spark of life into your web design.

Style Sheet

                  If you were using a word processor like Microsoft Word, you could tell the word processor how you want blocks of text to be formatted. For example, all of your page Headings could be in 28 point Times, bold, and colored red. If you wanted the same Heading again, you can just click a drop down list and select the Heading style you set up.

Using straight HTML, you can’t do that. There’s no way to apply the same formatting with a single Tag. Cascading Style Sheets, however, let you do precisely that – change whole blocks of text with a single tag. This not only makes your code easier to read, it is also very simple to change all the formatted blocks of text to say a different font size or font color.

A stylesheet is set up by using the word STYLE in between two angle brackets. An end STYLE tag is needed to tell the browser to stop formatting the style:

<STYLE>

</STYLE>

Your stylesheet code then goes between the two Style tags. Here’s a style that can change text blue:

<STYLE>

.Font1 { Color: Blue }

</STYLE>

<P Class =" Font1">

This is my text.

</P>

So a style is way to change blocks of code (or even individual words) and apply formatting to the block as a whole. You don’t need individual HTML tags in the BODY of your page; just using the style name once will ensure that your formatting is applied to the whole block

Inline test editor is also provided but main focus is on file save and sharing.

If you are blogging then this service will be very useful to you mainly for:
      1)  Sharing documents online with your readers. Many services are there to share docs online but those requires you to post your docs to their service or convert your docs to their file format. With Microsoft office live, your already uploaded document sharing is just a link ahead.
     2) All the hyper links in your documents are intact and clickable. You can share your docs and even get readers back to your website. Useful isn’t it?
    3) Unique URL for your every document. This allows users to bookmark your work.
